Thursday’s Lounge started in 1983 at its current location on 306 E. Exchange St. in Akron, Ohio, and has been a nightclub with a pub-like atmosphere since its inception. Currently, SUNDAY NIGHTS are for Electronic Music. Various DJs play Dub-Step, Drum n' Bass and other various electronic formats.

TUESDAY NIGHTS are MUG NIGHT. Bring $10 and we will fill your MUG all night long (Sponsered by Capri Pizza).

WEDNESDAY NIGHT is IPOD CHALLENGE NIGHT. Bring in your playlist and let it go til it gets BOO-ED ($3 Long Islands).

THURSDAY NIGHT is the grand-daddy of them all. DJ MARIO NEMR mixes everything from INDIE ROCK to ELECTROHOUSE to DISCO. Thursday night at THURSDAY'S has been talked about for over 25 years!

SATURDAY NIGHT is $2 16oz RED STRIPE TALL BOYS (ya mon!). DJ MARIO NEMR plays all the Thursday's dancefloor classics on Saturday's.

 

Thursday’s features two outdoor patios and has a capacity of about 350. Although being a dance-club is our focus (and has been for 29 years), we also host live music, karaoke, video dance parties and have multiple large HD screens and HD TVs for sporting events.
